Pizza, but you have to order it the day before and reheat it. That, and Birthday cake.

If I am serving 5 or 6 people over, I'll make roast goose. If more of the family is coming, it has to be turkey, because a goose just won't feed that many people.

The rest of the menu is the same regardless: homemade fresh herb stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade fresh cranberry sauce, green salad, and cherry chocolate trifle for dessert.

Turkey, ham, sausages, chipolatas, roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, carrots, peas, bread sauce and gravy.

Mum made Christmas pudding, trifle, cream etc...

I used to have scampi or other fish as I was not a lover of turkey in my late teens and early twenties...

Hi CoralReef! Your dinners sound yummy!

We don't have starters in my house, like some people on here as we have sooo much for the main, we have:

Turkey, bacon wrapped chipolatas, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, Bread sauce, peas, brocolli, carrots
roast peppers, yorkshire puddings, stuffing, gravy,

For dessert I always make sure i've got christmas pudding handy for those who want it. For the children I make something which they call "snow mousse" which is just a white chocolate mouse that I make a few days before, and I grate white chocolate on top of it. For adults I make hot chocolate with baileys irish cream in it and marshmallows in it, the kids like to dip candy canes in their hot choc so it melts and goes minty!! For the adults who don't want christmas pudding they can either have snow mousse (lol), or a buya big chocolate fudge cake.

Great question!
