Because this is not Yahoo answers as the site claims, it's Yahoo opinions. I reached that conclusion after about 10 minutes on my first visit.

If anything, most questions I see in this section are framed in all-or-nothing terms, including this one.

EVERY question slanted
Why do liberals ALWAYS...
Why do conservatives NEVER...
Why are there NO democrats who...
Why are Republicans ALWAYS...

If you want to sound a little more educated, ask about tendencies that you seem to notice, and for heaven's sake, SPECIFY your claim. If you're going to make sweeping all-inclusive comments, you had better support it with something legitimate.

Frame things as a hypothesis or tentative curiosity. Words like all, nothing, always, never, everybody and nobody, "you people," as well as referring to enormous, general groups of people such as Republicans, Democrats, liberals, conservatives, Christians, Muslims, minorities, southerners, the poor... these are all generalizations that make you look simple-minded. Identify a specific idea as well as the specific person or persons touting it. Then ask your question.

Thoughtful questions are rarely understood. The answers I get are usually to a question I didn't ask.

There are no real questions, they are provocations looking for provocative responses.

As soon as you make your peace with that, you can have some fun with this.

"One cannot wage war under present conditions without the support of public opinion, which is tremendously molded by the press and other forms of propaganda." (General Douglas MacArthur)

"I am concerned for the security of our great Nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within." (MacArthur)

"you people" - HA!
There are plenty of folks on here who are rational. Just because you disagree with them does not mean they are "slanted" as you put it.

If it works for the news, it will work for us. Unfortunately intelligent debates are a thing of the past.

You mean like this one? Maybe it's done to push good questions quickly out of the mainstream?
