Yes
Wire Taps, Cuba Camps, Patriot Act and Fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here has been very effective.
In addition, he has restored Honor & Dignity to the white house and the unemployment rate is a very very low 4.6%.

Bush is too stupid to be the spawn of Satan.
There were no islamic fundamentalist attacks on U.S. soil under Clinton's watch after the first WTC attack.
That is 8 years minus 6 weeks of no islamic terrorist attacks on U.S. soil.
Since the second WTC happened a whole 9 months into Bush's watch, Bush will never beat that record.

I give him a lot of credit, but am wary of doing so too vocally because most experts say we cannot protect ourselves 100% and another eventual attack is inevitable.
But an attitude of aggressively going after it and destroying the source is much, much more successful at reducing the attacks than merely thinking of it as a "nuisance" that must be lived with like prostitution or gambling, as Kerry suggested in the 2004 election.

Why, Clinton doesn't get any credit fro preventing attacks on American Soil for 8 years. So Clinton kept us safer longer.
Why is it that people use 9/11 to prove that Bush has done a good job, it was the single greatest laps of security and terrorist attack in this Nations history and this Administration was asleep at the wheel. Bush was on Vacation for the first 8 months of 2001 and ignored all the warnings.
O'Riley especially look at this "Lull"
The link below shows the increase in AL-Qaeda and terrorist activity since Bush Took office.

He should get all the credit.
He screwed America up so badly that terrorists realize that he is doing a better job than they could. He has promoted the fear of terrorism into the American Psyche much better than Bin laden could have ever hoped to do. And he has managed to subvert the Constitution in the process. Pardon the assumption that he is doing most of the work for the terrorists.

He should get some credit. He did invade Afghanistan, defeat the Taliban and force Bin Laden into hiding. He created the Department of Homeland Security. That said he shouldn't get all of it. The rest of it goes to those who have actively prevented terrorist attacks at home and abroad.

The fall of the Taliban and Hussein were successes.
We will not be safe from a terror attack, though, until the populations of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are dealt with. Radical Islam is MAINSTREAM in these countries.
The people who want to attack inside the US are neither Iraqi nor Iranian.

The same can be said of Clinton.
This is faulty logic. I have a pen that protects me from dinosaur attacks. I know it works, because ever since I've had it, I have not been attacked by a single dinosaur.
Statistics have shown that terrorism activity world-wide have known a sharp rise since the start of the Bush administration. I'm not saying all the blame can be put squarely on his shoulders, but I hardly feel we live in a safer world now.

I firmly believe that his actions (whether perfectly planned
or not) have definitely provided a 6-yr lull. On the contrary,
morally find him to be a breath of fresh air over the previous
administration..

Hell no. His "bring 'em on" mentality has done this country more harm than good. It'll take decades to correct his bone-headed mistakes.
The reason we haven't been attacked is due to increased vigilance by American citizens.
