Besides using a Magic Eraser, our daughter's pre-school teacher showed us that if you just color over it with a dry erase marker and then erase it with the dry eraser, it just wipes off. So far, it's worked well for us on multiple surfaces.

Either one works great! Head for the hardware store and ask for a bottle/can. Besides, it has a long shelf life and has many other household uses. Such as....Gooey stuck on labels on new dishes, vases, mirrors, bumper stickers, the list is long!
