Sure. I have done this with my brothers account.

I just sign the back of the check, then put a deposit slip with his information on it, you sign the deposit slip and go to the bank.

It all depends on the banks guidelines. If the check is off of another account holder of their bank, then they will probably have no problem. However, if the check is from another bank then they might require your husband to be present with you. This is because if the check comes back NSF, they would have to debit your husband's acct to get the money back. Then it would be your husband's responsibility to get the money back from the person who wrote you a bad check. Just call the bank or better yet, just take your husband with you when you go. As long as he has sufficient funds to cover the checks, he will be able to sign them with you and deposit them into his account.

Certainly, just endorse and write for deposit only and his account number. Anyone can put in but only he can withdraw.

Depends on how your bank account is set up, and the banks policies.
