I am addicted to Yankee Candles
Country Linen always smells really fresh. Vanilla Caramel is probably my very favorite. And I like Lemon Lavender.
I like seasonal ones. I love ones that smell like baking in the autumn. And Autumn Leaves is great. Christmas Cookie and Christmas Wreath are a must for the holidays. And Spring Bouquet really lives up to its name.

I've never smelt a Yankee Candle but I do love Gold Canyon Candles. They are really similar to Yankee Candles but you can't find them in a store. You order them from a catalog. They're the same price. My favorite is Pomegranite and Banana nut.

They used to be Midsummer Night and Clean Cotton but the Yankee Candles throw off so much soot that I no longer can have them in my house. Yankee Candles are far from smokeless and soot doesn't clean up, it smears.

I used to LOVE Oriental Cherry Blossom but it's no longer available.
Macintosh is one of my favorites now, and Midsummer Night.
(Oh, and you can just use a candle warmer instead of lighting it...no soot or smoke, or chance of accidental house fire).
We have a local soy candle maker here that copies the scents wonderfully, and the soy doesn't create sooty smoke. Try looking for soy candles if you don't like the black marks. :)
