This is a really nice example of someone who wants a specific answer. Any really pro Yankee will score a thumbs up and perhaps best answer, where any other answer, even if more realistic one will result in about 10 thumbs down and no consideration.
They say pitching wins titles and if you are relying on that Yankee pitching, the only streak that will continue is the 21st century one.

Forever, they may have a down year at some point caused by injury, but they will be very strong for a long time.
I crunched some numbers today, the yankees have 20 players on there 40 man roster that were drafted or signed by the yankees, while the red sox have 13, only 3 sox starters out of 13 while the yanks start 5 of their 20.

Possibly until they make the playoffs; or it could end tonight, Moose has been horrible this year. I would love to see it last a while longer to hear all the Yankee haters whine about over paid brats but I would like to see it end so that all the yankee band wagon bunch will shut up about how great they are when they we pummeling the Yankees at the beginning of the year for being washed up!

Yes, with some luck and no further injuries. You know the Yankees, they seem to peak at this time of year! I wonder if they post photographs of Reggie Jackson (Mr. October) on the locker of each team member to remind them of what can be done this time of year! I wish all the teams competing this year all the luck in the world as they close out their seasons. May the best team win!
