I already have The Sims 2 and a few other expanshion packs installed and they work properly, but why wont Sims Pets? I poped the cd in, installed it, and tryed to load the game... it would load so far, then the screen would lock up and exit and would come u with a small ERROR box with nothing written in it. I'm confused to why it isn't working? Someone help! I'v tryed everything.

Hmmm, first of all, u have a great computer, so the problem isnt there
what i suggest is uninstall it and install it again, if that doesnt help go on http://thesims.ea.com/us/index.html?content=./support/index.html

Sometimes when I install new ones I also have to "update" Direct X.
Try reinstalling Direct X 9, and if that doesn't work... Make sure your screen is running in 32-bit colour mode.
