How can you lose friends you never had? Look at the countries we have poured foreign aid into, gone to war for,
come to their aid when disaster struck them. And what did we get for it? Non stop votes AGAINST us in the UN. Slander in their newspapers. Support of our enemies, but all the while with their hands out for more dollars! We have been the biggest SAPS in the history of the world!
I would tell them all, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN, got a problem? Go see France, India, North Korea, Cuba, or two dozen others I could name.

The left has friends in low places Like they are supported by Osmam Bin laden and Hugo, and Russia and their Chi Com buddies.
Even France and other parts of socialist Europe is starting to wake up, France is now working more then the 30 hour week they had been doing as their economy is a failure, and Britain is starting to turn back the Muslims with in.
I do not care if we are liked by others as their are only a few who stand by us England and Australia and a few others. They know we saved their asss before and are the only ones who can and will do it again as history repeats itself. The others can go to Hellll

I think friendship is a two-way street, and if certain nations do not want to be our friends anymore then we may also decide not to be theirs.
Much of Western Europe didn't back us, but new friends in Eastern Europe did.
And yes, France, Germany and Canada's governments now seem more pro-American, if only even slightly so.

Rhetoric, every bit of it. The U.S., because of it's strengths and freedoms has been frowned upon by many for as long as I can remember yet, they come to us for aid and protection.
It's not up to foreigners to elect our leaders, it's up to us, the voters. Frankly, I don't care what other countries happen to think so long as they give us the respect that we've earned.
