I've been in fights, and I've had my butt kicked. You live through the pain of being punched in the face!

After you wipe off your lip and your nose, you go to the nearest telephone and call 911.

The bully will go to jail, and you can sue your empolyeer for a lot of money.

You will be able to walk into any law firm and they will Leap-For-Joy, because they will be able to sue the living crap out of your empolyeer. You will be well compensated and the bully will be a convicted fellon.

So in a way, getting your *** kicked will actually be a gift !

(((also, report his behavior and keep a journal of what NON-Violent actions you took, what day and what time you took the actions, and to whom you reported the actions,- this journal will be allowed in court!)))

GOOD LUCK, I hope you sue the living hell out of eveyone involved !!!

I think you're in a position to possibly get her for sexual harrasment but like someone said below ~ document everything!!! Even conversations (especially after the confrontation). Another thing you could do is email her a "reaction" to your meeting and put in your views. Knowing her she certainly will take the bait and blast you with something inappropriate and walla! You will have the beginning of something in writing. Also ~ don't let your emotions get in the way on this one ~ stay focused, don't let her get the best of you and keep everything she says, does, asks in some sort of file for your future use! I doubt if it's a "true" sexual harassment case at this point but feel it could very well be .... Hang in there and keep the air freshener handy! What a slob!

Did you apologize for throwing the cigarette pack into his car?

If not, it would probably be worth it to nicely go up to him and offer apologies - let him know that you did not intend to cause any problems for him with his volleyball coaching job.

I have a relative who is a high school teacher and a smoker. She does not leave her cigarettes in plain sight in her car either (she locks hers in the trunk before she leaves her home in the morning). She can lose her job if the cigarettes were seen in her car. When she is in public, she has to be careful when she smokes (does not want any of her students to see her). It's not your place to judge him for hiding the fact that he smokes from the students/school he coaches for. It's what a lot of smokers in education/coaching have to do.

I would try to make nice with the guy and put the issue behind you. If you have to - tell him that should the school question him about the cigarettes, you will tell them they were yours and you left them in his car.

The guy has "bowed up" to you and you can push the issue and "bow up" back - but that is only going to escalate things.

Just apologize to the guy - no matter what he says - don't get belligerent back, and just make nice with the guy and get past it.

obviously you dont like the guy, so complain to HR or supervisor, get him fired, then fight him. if he kicks your rear, then take it like a man, since you did act like a punk and throw the cigs in the car. what were you expecting from these actions anyway?
