This does not sound like a cold.
Get another opinion as doctors can be wrong. This could be a number of things like bladder infection, blocked intestines, kidney stones and more.
These can be serious and nothing to wait on. Get to a doctor right away. Find another one fast.

Maybe bladder/kidney infection or stones , head cold , allergies, did they run any tests, blood work, or anything for you when you were there?I wouldn't go back to him for sure.
