If LL Cool J went and made an album with DJ Premier (ll ain't really kicked anything good this decade), would you rather buy that or a Ghostface album with an R&B'er on every track? (Ghostface has been killin it lately) (neither one of these are happening...I just want to see what you would say)

This is a toughy right here, but I'm gonna have to go with Ghostface with an R& B track on every cut. This would be brutal either way, but I grew up enjoying Ghostface more. LL did a complete 360 from what he originally came out as in the 80's and early 90's, therefore I can't ride out with him. This sex symbol thing is a little played too. At least Ghostface kept it gutta'.

mos def LL Cool J with primo that would be a monster callabo. besides Ghostface wouldnt sound good with RnB tracks. Cool J does do that alot but he can switch on and off with crazy tracks for proof listen to some of the new tracks off his albuum exit 13 which will come out later in the year.

Im gonna have to go with ghostface on this one. LL makes corny tunes then cries that he doesnt get marketed correctly. No company would ever market a product thats not gonna sell. He has teamed up with 50 cent and the only song i heard entitled, "Queens" was actually good. If he gets back to what he did originally he might have a chance again.

Love Ghostface, but hate his R&B tracks (Back like That, I'll never be the same again). I would definetely go with the LL produced by Primo.

I bought Big Shug's first album produced almost entirely by Primo for that reason. HORRIBLE though... Hot beats, terrible songs.

I would definitely go with L.L.
People say he changed, but I don't see
the change, and I definitely don't see
anything wrong with him being a Lady's
man. So what, the other rappers are
rapping for men? Hmmm, sounds a little
fruity to me.
I think the rap industry really got into
gangsta rap, and got into the image of
being "hard", which downplayed L.L. who
doesn't need to be "hard" to make good
music. He's been in the game for a long
time, and I really don't think these new cat's
know how to promote him. Promotion is
very important when it comes to boosting
record sells.
