If you're thinking honey, that's a myth. The legendary honey found in Egyptian tombs that was still edible was preserved by the arid climate and relative lack of bacteria (just like the mummies). If you don't believe me, leave an open jar of honey outside for a week or two, then try putting it on some toast. It WILL spoil, and it will be extremely harmful.
