Of all time? The N64, and Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time. LOZ-OoT was revolutionary for it's time, and just a great game all around.
In the last few years? The PS2, and Dragon Quest 8 - Journey of the Cursed King. DQ8 is one of the most fun RPGs I've ever played. It has an old-school feel, cool cel-shaded graphics, and a great (and sometimes comical) story.

Xbox 360 because of the compatible list , the games, and the graphics, looks too.
Even though a Pc isn't a "video-game system" , I am addicted to it.

The good old PS2. Lots of games, not a lot of expense. I'm not a gamer, but it's good for my DDR and Silent Hill.
