Jumanji
Aladdin
The Lion King
The Bridge to Terabithia (although it's a little sad)
Finding Nemo
Ice Age
Ice Age 2
Cartoons like Looney Toons. Or, I know they're old, but the Silly Symphonies are really cute.
Fantasia
The Neverending Story
A Little Princess
Black Beauty
The Black Stallion
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
The Care Bears Movie
The Last Unicorn
The Wizard of Oz
The Chronicles of Narnia
Harry Potter (although the end of the first one might be a little scary for kids that age)
I hope your kids enjoy!

There are about a 1000 movies I could name here. I would recommend Cars, Flushed Away, Hoodwinked, Open Season, and Over the Hedge. These are all great movies for that age and they will keep boys and girls entertained. A bonus is that they are the kind of movie that an adult can sit and enjoy with the kids also.

Most of the Disney cartoon movies are great for kids that age; some of them are more fun and can be enjoyed by boys or girls like Hercules, and Ice Age.
But i will recomend you another two movies i enjoyed too much, watching them with my son.
A Little Princess - Director Alfonso Cuarón - 1995, that's great movie and it envolves so much fantasy and shows the strength of a little girl who looses his father.
And Matilda - Director Danny DeVitto - 1996, such a funny movie, wich shows how TV and junk food just creates a divided family.

Disney movies are great. Another one that I have found works for the kids that I baby-sit (they are 4 & 6 year old boys) is Thomas & the Magic Railroad. It stars Alec Baldwin, Peter Fonda, and Mara Wilson. It is a Thomas the Tank Engine movie.

Beauty & the Beast! Belle is a uncommon position mannequin, loving to learn, no longer being inspired w/ the pompous Gaston, unswerving to her father and peers... and probably the most characters is Mrs. Potts, a teapot! Depending upon their a while, do not anticipate them sitting there mesmerized looking it....they will become bored beautiful swiftly.

Mr Bean's Holiday. I showed it at my daughter's sleepover party at the weekend and they all loved it. They were age 7 and 8.
