put down those "pregnancy for the father to be books". i wish every day that mac never read one. its been "are you doing this, are you eating that, sleep on your left side blah blah blah." We were given this book by one of his friends (jenny and randall-thank you ever so much) called "shes having a baby and im having a breakdown"-what every man needs to know and do when the woman he loves is pregnant (by james douglas barron). yes, it was written by a man, and why would a woman be advertising a pregnancy book written by a man??? well, this book tells the men all they need to know about how to treat thier wife and what to do at every stage in thier pregnancy. i highly recommend this book to every man who is about to become a father. those other books tell you the medical facts of whats going on during a pregnancy. believe me the woman knows what is going on with her body and if she has any questions she will find out quickly whats going on. just have fun with the pregnancy

Be very happy that he is so involved!!
My hubby was the exact same way during our 1st pregnancy (I think his book was called, "The Expecting Father" or something like that). Now, he has this, "Ahhh, she's done it before & everything was fine" attitude and is nothing like he was the 1st time. I wish he was more involved this time. Be glad!!!

Better yet...have him read "Wild at Heart" by John Eldredge. It contains the one thing a father MUST do with his child in order to be a successful parent (and that one thing is different, depending on whether the child is a boy or a girl).
