I think equality is completely false, some people are simply better than others. In one case you have a vegetable, no latent idiot-savant talents in the shadows. How does this person compete with you in terms of equality...they have a large does of ignorance is bliss I suppose. If anything I see people as anything but equal...

Everyone is legally equal

but we are biologically, sociologically, and psychologically better or worse than other people.

Yes, in today's society, everyone is equal.
