Yes; I picked up typing very easily when I was in school (keyboarding classes were mandatory in 5th grade, I believe), and now I type close to 110 words per minute! Unfortunately, I do have to look at the numbers when I am using my laptop...why the hell didn't they put a number keypad on those damned things?

♥ The only time I look at the keyboard is when I'm inputting symbols. My fastest speed is over 100 wmp with 98% accuracy. My average is closer to 85-90 wmp though, because my fingers get tired. Lolz...

I can do that, yes. I can type 90+wpm
And I usually know where the symbols are.. * is eight, @ is two, ! is 1, # is 3.. etc.. those are the ones I use the most so I know where they are.

Does that answer your question? That's what it would look like if I didn't look at the keyboard. Even then I still flip letters around when I try and go too fast..or glance away at times.
Sigh.

That's how I learned. Touch typing. Keep practicing on the other keys. I need too also with the numbers.

Normally, I'm doing it with this answer, and have only made one mistake so far.
20 years of working (make that 2 mistakes) in IT tends to teach you where the keys are
