As noted in a recent documentary on TV, it would have been less expensive, and less difficult, for the U.S. government to build a rocket and actually send people to the real moon, than it would have been to pull off such an elaborate hoax.

We all saw the Saturn-V rockets take off. If they didn't go to the moon, then where did these big rockets go? That was no sound studio. The launches took place outdoors with all of the public watching live and in person.

The astronauts left mirrors on the moon. Even today, astronomers bounce lasers off of these mirrors to check the distance from the Earth to the moon. If the moon landings were fake, then how did the mirrors get on the moon? Who else could have put them there?

And if the U.S. government tried to fool everyone, you know that the USSR would have exposed NASA if front of the whole world. Don't think that the Soviet Union didn't have spies in the U.S. government. They would have exposed us if they could.

Of course it was real.
If it was faked, the Russians would have known for sure. They never complained.
The radio communications from the moon could be "triangulated" by everyone. This is receiving the same radio signal on 3 different places on earth. Then with every receiver you find the direction the radio signals come from and you have a bearing. Now you draw these three bearing in one chart, and you'll see that where the lines cross, the radio signal originates. This has been done by many scientists and amateurs. Nobody came to the conclusion the signals did not come from the moon.
The astronauts also left a laser reflector for scientific purposes, which is still used today:

This is a complete debunk of the conspiracy theories concerning the moon landing.

For every single news worthy event there are always conspiracy theory's that arises shortly after.

Examples:

1. Government hiding UFOs and using the technology to make better faster computers

2. 9-11 was plotted by the US government

3. JFK assassinated by LBJ conspiracy

4. TWA flight shot down by US military

5. Moon landing took place in a studio.

6. The world is flat.

7. Elvis faked his own death.

Welcome to the umpteenth answering of this question. The Moon landings were real. Those who promote this are deluded or they are liars. One of those who promotes this idea has the initials BS which also stands for bullshYt. He is a thoroughgoing liar and cheat and has been spotted re-working the sound track of a Moon mission to make it look fake. He has already been slapped upside the head by Buzz Aldrin after much provocation of not only Buzz but other Apollo astronauts.

If I had Buzz's address I'd send him an Australian stock whip to give these people what they so greatly deserve.

No. We really did travel to the Moon, not just once, but six times. There is abundant evidence that this really happened, including a large collection of Moon rocks which have been studied by geologists all over the world, and which could not be created on Earth.

im not sure why people keep asking this. there is a lot of proof that we landed on the moon. like that you can still see the flag we left on the moon from earth, and that the transmissions we sent during the broadcast were coming from the moon and were available to the entire world. If the transmissions came from anywhere else but the moon you better believe the soviets would have been all over that since we were in the space race and all.

Nope.
I saw it live, millions of others saw it, thousands of scientists and technicians worked on the space program for years before the first manned landing.

Believe it or not, back in 1969 they didn't have the kind of CGI that we have today. They couldn't have pulled it off. Star Wars was the first truly realistic CGI film and that was almost a decade later (1977).

Why do people keep asking this absurd question? Yes, people did lie to you about the Easter Bunny, and Santa. Yes it was terrible learning these awful truths. Get over it. The Moon landings were as real as it gets. Just as real as the world wars, the crusades, and the discovery of fire. Quit being an idiot.

well there really were sum disturbing facts in the beginning lik fluttering of flag wen der is no wind on moon etc etc which falsified the landing of astronauts on moon!
but all those facts have been solved by the scientists ly the flag was fluttering bcos of vibrations across the metal pole of the flag wen the astronauts touched it!
since der is vacuum on moon the vibrations continue fr a long tym and led to the fluttering of the flag
