They got Britney because they knew they were going to get a lot of people tuning in to watch her sad performance. And Kanye West was right. They knew she was going to make an a/ss of herself because they saw her rehearsals and knew it was not going to go well at all. So, instead of having Kanye perform a new song of his and knowing his performance was going to be good, they decided to let her do it so they can get all the buzz about that sadness everyone witnessed.
And besides, they realize that no one really watches the VMAs anymore because, really, when was the last time you sat and watched a video on MTV at a decent time? That was a long time ago when that actually happened. You have to watch videos on other stations-especially if you have Direct TV or Digital cable.

Yep, i think of it grew to become into staged too. The MTV award teach isn't something greater advantageous than exposure for musicians. The manufacturers probable got here to Kayne West and asked if he had to accomplish a little spoof. The MTV music awards has gotten to the factor of "leaping the shark" and could do something to get scores/buzz.
