For example, my ex wouldn't eat pumpkin simply because it reminded him of baby poop (apparantly the same colour) and wouldn't eat eggs because they came from a chickens bum... among other things.

i hate honey. to me it tastes like panadol (medicine) because my mum used to mix them together... to this day I can't stand it.

I wont touch guacamole unless I'm pregnant. Then I can't get enough and Chipotle is the best place I know of to get a good guac fix.
Guac looks like chicken poop.

I have to agree with mozillakilla, eggplant..
I've never had it and ever since I was a kid I was scared of it, and thought it probably tasted like eggs.. I love eggs but a big huge purple thing tasting like eggs is like... taboo..
I refrain from eating Campbells soup.. Friend of the family used to work at a factory... Said the ingredients they put in some of the soups, and even just the condition of the food has convinced him (and now me) to never eat it.
TV dinners as well. I'll eat some brands though, and macaroni & cheese...
But Banquet and Tyson, I don't know what their game is but that is not chicken, and that corn has got to be older than the dirt it grew in.. (Okay, impossible I know wtvr..)

I won't eat eggs because my parents took me to Mt. Lassen as a kid and the sulpher smell made me throw up.
I won't eat guacamole because it's green and looks like baby poo.

I usually don't eat chicken unless I've prepared it myself. I hate, make that HATE finding gristle if I bite into it, and there's always the chance that it was undercooked and I could get salmonella.

Apple jelly because my grandmother put icky medicine in it when I was a kid. I won't eat food that has touched another food, eww!

I would never eat snake for any reason or drink blood of snake. i feel gross and eerie at the same time. some peoples eat and drink it due to myth that it can make body healthier and stronger but i trully don't believe it.
