...unbiased, straight information about what each of the Presidential candidates stands for? I don't want a propaganda website or a newssite that interprets someone's stance; I want something that will show me how they feel on the different, important views of our society today. How else can you make an informed decision?

Okay, I have voted before. And I have generally been very informed in previous cases. My problem has been because there are so many "candidates" and that no one is actually talking about anything. I was hoping someone knew of an internet source that was easily acceptable. Please do not try to promote your personal political opinion, I am looking for facts. Thank you.

Go to their websites. You'll hear it straight from the candidate themselves. OK, maybe they didn't write their stance on the issue, some staffer probably wrote it, but it's the candidate's stated belief and they approved it.

I would ask you to consider more than just their stance on the issues however. The Presidency is about LEADERSHIP more than anything else. Look at their record too.

Most Presidential candidates are from Congress. Look beyond their votes, yea or nay. Look for important bills written or sponsored by them, and then look to see if they fought to get them passed.

This was my biggest problem with John Kerry by the way. He had a plan for everything, yet when I looked at his nearly 20 year Senate record, he had not written one important piece of legislation. Almost every bill he wrote was along the lines of commemorating Janitors or making such and such a date National Stamp Day. He had not lead the way to get any important reforms done. There was no "Kerry Bill" or "Kerry Law." If he had all these plans to solve all sorts of problems, why the heck didn't he write legislation, and fight for it's passage, as a US Senator, to implement them?

They are what a campaign manager thinks will get them elected .

Except for a few Candidates who are at the bottom of the polls .

Remember that people are joiners and not independent people .

If everyone likes vanilla because a poll says so then supplies of vanilla stock the shelves and adds about vanilla appear all over the place making people who eat chocolate outsiders .

People talk about vanilla all the time now and people who like chocolate are shunned for not supporting vanilla .

SO now look at who actually provides the polling data and see if you like those people .

On fox news the poles show that Ron Paul wins the debate every time and has lots of support from the people .
Yet the news casters and show hosts do all they can do down play this claiming foul .

Makes you think !!!

They also give Dennis Kucinich a hard time .
He also scores high with average americans and does very poorly in the polls . He is attacked by the media and his support is down played .

These two Candidates are actually the only two running on their own beliefs .

The others are what the parties want and are supported by business and lobbies and the media .

Its hard for any real person with a set of values to run for office and win when everything is against you from the start and during the entire campaign .

People are joiners and unless the media reports these Guys as the better choice they will not stand a chance .

Fact is they do not stand a chance anyhow with politics run by the corporate elite because what they stand for is freedom and the rights of people to be paid a decent wage and have freedom .

Before Unions came along people worked 70 hours a week and had no recourse because the wages they earned where so low that they could not afford to get out of the situation .

That changed and people moved out of the cities and demanded better benefits and pay and got it .

Just when the middle class had it made they decided that it was time to teach them a lesson and started to ship jobs overseas .

Now Americans are forced to sell homes, file for bankruptcy and trade in college tuition money to pay for inflated medical expenses and outrageous insurance, taxes, and other attacks on your paycheck .

The rich have once again declared war on the working class .

With only two candidates working to help the people Dennis and Ron we have little hope of getting what we need in a leadership capacity in this nation run by corporate greed .

The Weekly Standard or The National Review are both good unbiased sources.

That would mean that "they" would have to be honest about where they stand on any given issue... not gonna happen.
