Time does heal but not 100%. In my case, how do I heal completely, after the death of my 15 y/o son? When it comes to matters of the heart, I don't think a person can heal completely, but life becomes a bit easier to bare.

That is an old saying. Time never really heal all wounds. It prolongs the feelings. You are right, life is tough at times. And, even when life is going great for you, you will still think about the old times when you have had it rough because you compare the good times that you may be having now to those of back then. So, no matter what, you will always remember and it will never heal fully.

time does heal. I heard once that the greatest revenge is living a good life. Think of Drew Barrymore's character in the movie Ever After, when she looks at her stepmother and says something to the effect of "after this moment, I will forget you, but I am sure you will think of me every day for a long time." Don't look back, get out there and live, don't let whatever it is that's bugging you keep you from having the good times that you deserve.
Good luck. You'll be whole again in time.

Maybe it doesn't heal but it gets easier to deal with it. Guess it depends on you and the situation. If you can get away from it all even for just a little while, every once in awhile, the healing will begin. distance yourself from it as much as possible give yourself time away from whatever it is that hurts you and you'll see it gets easier. you don't get OVER it you THROUGH it. Good luck!

Yes.The best healer. It depends on how much you invest in a relationship. The higher the investment the longer it takes to heal and forget.

I think that time just gives you distance from the pain. You have to heal yourself.

yes time heals all wounds. the length of time depends on the depth of your wound and how willing you are to accept what is happening or has happened and move on.
