Well honey, both are equally as bad though. When one is arrogant, even a mistake that one makes will never be wrong as one will insist that he/she is always right. That will be his/her greatest downfall though.
As for ignorance, ignoring everything is as good as pushing responsibilities around and that can really get one on his/her nerves though. In comparation, nothing is good or worst as both are just as bad though.

They just seem to so often go hand in hand don't they i would have to say arrogance is worse though just because someone is ignorant on a subject doesn't make them a bad person.

i would say both but that is too easy to do. I would say ignorance because it's something that you can counter by reading books, talking to people that are experts in the field, surfing the net for it or any number of other ways but people don't choose to do it. They would just rather be like well i didnt feel like checking or whatever lame excuse hits them at the moment.
Arrogant people make me laugh why? They take themselves way to seriously and its obvious from a mile away.

arrogance is worse.
ignorance isnt usually somebody's fault. the didnt have the mental fortitude or the opportunity to educate themselves.
there is no excuse for arrogance.
