If circumstances permit, yes I will. If the dog has been bitten and into the alligator's mouth, it will be the saddest day of my life as there's nothing I can do but to see my pet dog being drifted away into the water though.

1,i would not put my dog in a situation where she is under threat or where there may be a risk to her life.
2, if the situation did occur, and an alligator got my dog, i would shoot her so she doesn't suffer and she has a quick death rather than the slow one that faced her if i didn't.
then id turn the gun to the alligator, and blast it's fukcing head off!

Don't have a dog, but I still haven't even got the guts to wrestle a snake lol. And it's quite easy too, distract it with one hand and grab behind the head with the other. I don't think I'm meant for any category of animal wrestling.

What a horrible situation! I would be afraid for my own life. Me and Sam could both die or be maned. I would probably stand on the shore yelling and hitting the alligator with a stick... then run!!

an alligator...not if the earth froze over tomorrow. sorry pooch but i'm not going out like that. if i had a dog as a pet i might say something different but i don't.

Damn straight. not a croc though, but I've held an alligator before and as long as you grab their jaw quick like a bunny, you have a chance

I would beat it with some sort of weapon, but not physically wrestle with something that weighs hundres of pounds more than me!
