In order for you to be a sports agent you need to be a lawyer. So you can major in prelaw or any other major and then take your LSAT and then go on to law school. You have to be a lawyer because you will be dealing with contracts and the law that concerns them. You will also need to represent them legally in Public Affairs and sometime finances. But, most importantly you will be dealing with contracts and negotiations. In law school you will want to specialize in Entertainment Law. This is a program that is devoted to Laws that surround the Sports and Entertainment Industries. So you are looking at seven years of college(4 for undergrad and 3 for law) and then you need to get into a agency that handles athletes and/or actors etc.. I hope this helps and don't let the amount of school deter you. If you can read and write well you will be fine in college and law school . Take care and good luck.

Having a law degree would probably be quite helpful, especially when it came to negotiating contracts and things of that nature.
