Hegel's philosophy is generally perceived as being that of Absolute Idealism: a combination of both Subjective and Objective philosophy..

While I could probably give you enough insights to be able to fool your teacher into believing you actually acquired the knowledge on your own I would think the ghosts of Hagel, Kant, Rousseau and my grandpappy would not approve.

Hagel was too cool to be shortchanged by faked knowledge.

I will give you one tip: Try typing in a search for 'History Of Ideas' and see if that will help you with your shortcut to knowledge. There is a wonderful published book called 'Dictionary of The History Of Ideas' that may still be in print that should help you.

Russell has a good quote on this: We may note one peculiar feature of philosophy. If someone asks the question what is mathematics, we can give him a dictionary definition, let us say the science of number, for the sake of argument. As far as it goes this is an uncontroversial statement... Definitions may be given in this way of any field where a body of definite knowledge exists. But philosophy cannot be so defined. Any definition is controversial and already embodies a philosophic attitude. The only way to find out what philosophy is, is to do philosophy. —Bertrand Russell, The Wisdom of the West
