What do you do when you like someone as a close friend...?

But all their actions show you that you dont mean that much to them. Just a casual friend. Like they go away for a while and dont contact you. They contact someone else and send you regards. The like. How do I stop liking her as a close friend?

That person doesn't consider herself as a close friend to you. I have known people like this that only come around when they have no one else to pal around with. Just tell yourself she will never be a close friend.

I think that you can't get over her any other way than to find someone you can feel the same way about. You can still be friends with her, but it sounds like you really need someone to hold on to, so she doesn't seem like the right person for you. You can try a new activity, like a sport or hobby, and friends that you make there not only have the same interests as you, but you will forcefully be spending a lot of time with them at the activity, so something might just click!

You see her as a close friend, but apparently it's not mutual.
Still before jumping into the above conclusion, you should take into consideration a lot more things.
I mean, I have this friend of mine whose relationship with phone is TERRIBLE! Unless I call him, he hardly ever calls.
Yet, he's been there for me since forever, and there has not been one single time that I need him and he wasn't there to stand by me, help me, listen to me, put his arms around me...
Don't judge her from one single thing, see the whole package first.
