No blood relation and not being raised together as uncle/niece. You're okay. Will she know that he's adopted? If yes, that's good. If not, however, that's not stepping over line but it's coming close. I suggest you keep things amusing and lighthearted to cut down on the perv-factor.

I don't always step over the line. In fact, most of the time I don't, but sometimes the edge is overwhelming and the flesh is weak.
