Attainment. It's never enough, never ever enough till it's all taken away. Then in the retrospective, it was enough. There are not many that have a great deal that wouldn't give it all away for a little more. Never enough.

If one has not attained one feels a sort of heaviness on heart. But once attainment is there the suffering to share with those who are thirsty starts. I feel the Attainment is bringing more suffering

Philosophically speaking, neither!

When we assume that it is we who are doing a thing, there are setbacks & sufferings. If you begin to think you are just an instrument / tool in the action, loss or attainment would bring you no suffering.

This equanimity of mind is all the more desirable to possess. It comes by the change of paradigms & practice.

As Osho has rightly pointed out, OUR Thoughts ( Mind) are the main villains. During the split-second when we reach orgasm, we become thoughtless & get near to the Almighty! If only we get continuous spiritual Orgasm ( Nirvana0 life would never be a burden but an ecstatic experience!

it depends on the situation about a few years ago I had hoped for something and I attained it only to find out that the thing I admired and looked up to was not the thing I thought it was and it was extremely sad........it took me two years to see that the truth because I did not want to face it but I have come to terms with it now and what I attained I let go because it was harmful and not beneficial to me now I put myself first I count the most I am top priority and not the thing that I attained made me feel bad.........So I would say attainment like the saying be careful what you wish for you just might get it and its so true and what you find out will kill your soul if you let it!!!

Loss after attainment. The believe that you found something good and then lost it can be like a part of you is ripped out of your chest and you are hollow inside.

It depends upon how you control yourself and your mind. If one does not go haywire on attainment and keeps cool on loss, one keeps oneself away from suffering.

Loss of course.

Depends on what you obtain, and depends on what you loose.

If you loose something you've cherished, thats always brings the most suffering.

If you gain something that will bring suffering, that brings the most suffering aswell

but it depends on what you loose or gain, so its hard to say, unless you define something.
