I haven't missed a day of work and my girlfriend has said I'm performing as well as ever, but I must admit I've not been the most efficient donut maker around; my cruellers are looking more like dutchies, my bagels are seldom round and I'm having a lot of trouble operating the coffee machine...perhaps I just need to change jobs...

If you drink for any two days in a row, its cause for some concern. If you've been drinking for 18 straight days, you definitely have a problem. I suggest going to an AA meeting and outing yourself and let the group help you.

It's cause for concern that you would ask such a question. I think you should step back, take a good look, and answer your own question objectively. I see several things to be concerned about.
1. Drinking
2. Binging
3. 18 days
4. Not knowing if it is a problem

Binges tend to get longer and presto! the AA meetings
start gnawing in your mind (if you're honest with yourself)
-- quit binging, show a little self-0respect.

(I are a dry alcoholic, and it ain't easy)

ummmm... i think you should change your donut store name to "freaky fritters" then you wouldnt have to explain why they are odd shaped...
I really hope youre not serious.... but if you are...dont stick your hand in the mixer... my bf broke his wrist that way at his donut shop.
