One of my teachers once said, "Don't be afraid of the obvious, sometimes what we are looking for is right in front of us." This reminds me of the story of the bluebird of happiness, found in the searcher's back yard. The "obvious" may not be so obvious to everyone; for example, the true point of your question isn't obvious to me.
