Forget the camera. When you need to make 'eye contact' with the viewers, look past the camera. As in through it. Focus on the head of the camera operator. A TV camera is just another tool to get your message across, it is not a torture device. If you're nervous, to avoid looking away from people, look at the bridge of their nose, right between the eyebrows. That helps stop your eyes from wandering.

Caitie, the biggie is to relax. Few people are watching you as intently as you feel you're being watched.
Dress "serious," sit up straight, then forget about your appearance. Focus on the interviewer and ignore the camera and any audience. Take a moment to compose your answers before you speak. It's the off-the-cuff remarks that come back to haunt you.

Good Luck for one. Just be yourself and very professional. Since it is a TV interview you have to be very careful on your moves. They watch everything you do. No rearranging clothes or scratching. It's not attractive. Make you way to the top and good luck again.

Look into the camera, know what questions they will ask, you run the interview, don't let the media run you. Feel secure in front of the camera. DON'T LIE, it will come back to hurt you.
