I lived next to a cop once and I also lived next to the cop SHOP once! I liked that OK because there wasn't any crime or problems in the neighborhood. Living next to the cop was a little different, he didn't really bother me but just the idea he was right there every time I had friends visiting or BBQ was a little intimidating. Like I was afraid somebody might say something that was overheard that shouldn't have been.

I would have really mixed feelings. I would think that it is a 50/50 deal. The cop might be a great guy that joined up for all the right reasons and I would love having him there, or there's a little napoleonic hitler type that you need to keep an eye on. It really goes from dream to nightmare. I bet or at least hope it's for the good.

A cop does live next door to me...we never see him, so I don't really care much....

I would love to have a cop as a neighbour! My neighbours are crack heads and they are dealers so I do not feel safe where I live! Two of them got arrested last week for breaking and entering with a weapon and they are searching for 4 of their friends right now!

It really wouldnt bother me
I'd probably feel alot safer with a cop living next to me

long as he didn't snoop, but i wouldn't really want a cop next door to me...then again i may feel safe hmm, nah i rather not have one lol

You know, I don't think it would bother me unless he was one of those cops that was on a power trip because he's a cop.
