To take this to the illogical conclusion:
If the government re-distributed wealth perfectly and equally, the incentive to work would be lost.
With no incentive to work, the economy would come to a standstill and the government would fail.
When the government failed, anarchy would develop and crime would became rampant as people would start stealing in order to eat.
With food production stopped, very quickly people would die of starvation until we became a nation of a few groups of roaming bands who survived by hunting and gathering.
(Conversely, in a humane society, the best solution is a balance of opposing thoughts. While an open and democratic society encourages self motivated and hard working people to succeed, we have a duty to support the weak, infirm, and elderly.)

They do, it's called welfare. Many people abuse this helping hand, by refusing to get jobs, and basically living off of the government. Many women continue to have children, instead of practicing abstinence or safe sex; when they can barely afford to take care of the children they already have. Then they expect even more from welfare, and usually get it. Its become an easy way to living by coat strings; just eneough to get by. Some are too lazy and unmotivated to seek better living standards, so they continue to reap the benefits of welfare.

Well if we redistributed the wealth equally aside from it be communism which does not work the money would go back to basically the same people or type of people who have it now. Spending habits are what makes people rich and poor spending habits makes you poor, or more simply stated for many easy come easy goes so the people who were poorest would likely spend thorw the money the fastest.

simple but true.

You should do some research rather than asking someone to give you the answer.

Think about whether it's right for the government to get involved in individuals' decisions as to whether or not to pursue money. Think about whether it's the individual who should work to earn money or the government that should decide who gets how much money.
