Firstly a star for ur question & a thumbs up for Dawn (for the thought of the dog sitting outside expecting to see something) lol... nice question but yea i do shut it too, unless i am going to be expecting anyone back home.. else am chilled out, slightly open that is. The fear of just 'anything' watching is always there.. lol tc n shower with ur neighbours - save water... lol .. ;)

I shut the bedroom door and that pretty much takes care of the privacy. It's just habit to continue when I'm alone since it happens so rarely. My cat tends to open it if I don't make sure it's latched though.

For #1, no. If it's #2, yeah, I shut and lock it. Don't really know why, it just feels better to have that locked door. My dog sits outside the door and cries the entire time, though.

Nope - There's no need to! Your alone, right? Well who could possibly bug in? No one! As long as you make sure there's no one your okay. But, ofcourse when there's people I AlWaYs shut the door. :]

My girlfriend & I don't shut the bathroom door unless we have guests.

No...I leave all my doors open. If I have to go into a room I want to know what is on the other side before I enter.

if i ever get to be alone, then no,, and even if there are people home it does not matter.. if i shut the door without fail someone will walk in.... kids, hubby, even the dog nudged the door open yesterday, lol....
privacy would be bliss....

not when im home with just family. when friends or othe family are round i will shut the door
