Zim your q's always makes me think, which leads to a question of my own. (thanks)

My personal belief when is comes to love is that, although it should come naturally the relationship should be one of a spiritual one.

You have to be whole - knowing who you are and what you want in life, in order to allow someone else in your life and expect them to love you and know what you need.

I believe when whole souls come together they can truly love each other and grow together.

Too many times I see friends looking for broken people they can "fix". Playing catcher in the rye and claiming they're inlove.

For me relationships dont work like that! No partner should have a superior position than the other.

Whats your opinion?

Hobo, why would you be sacrificing yourself if you inlove. Surely the feeling of love is enough to fill you up, so you wouldnt be "sacrficing" anything.

Ayiza, dont agree with the ladies part (I am a lady) But I agree with the fact that you can love anyone you choose to love. And how the love everyone claims they know about is overrated.

But only one or few people can have a connection that sinks deep enough.

You are getting difficult with this one..... but let's try:

Love is a not a privilege, it's a birth rite……….We are born to Love……… it is the principle of our very existence…….it is more than a feeling, it is a virtue…….. philosophically, you ask; is it the spirit or love?......... that is a long debate on its own……..but let’s move from the premise that the spirit comes first and guides love…..the important thing is we must have what is called self-love………this is where we have “do unto others as you would them do unto you”……… a person an open heart need not look for signs if they are loved.. they see it in each small moments they share, when you were told "I love you", ………. a single rose would smell like a whole garden in full blossom, a minute staring at his eyes is like eternity staring back at you.......... that’s the spirit……..people with self-love fall in love with you not to be happy or be pleased, but………more to give than receive…….. it's learning, sharing……..it's a risk you take no matter what..........because your life without Love is unworthy of living…. it’s like a life without spirit…….. But we must also remember that love is a is bitter-sweet affair…….. the only difference is that the after-taste will always be the sweetest
…….the spirit command and love commands, the spirit empowers and love empowers……spirit resides in your heart……….love sits within your heart and reigns supreme........the spirit is unfearful…….fear and love cannot co-exist……….as we learn to love we put fear aside, we might fear consequences but would even die for those we love. The true lover is not even undone by betrayal……..same with the spirit

I have tried to put so many things into this and I hope it helps.

I'm not a big believer in love!

I've said this before - I think we marry and enter into relationships, because we as humans need someone to bear witness to our lives.

Thus I believe that if you're really committed you can make any relationship work. Fairytale love is a work of fiction and non-existent.

P.S. You just brought out the cynic in me.

Love is the willingness,to give of yourself for some one else .To many people relate sex and love as the same .example being ; you love your parents or children and sacrifice yourself for them , hopefully you don't have sex.,with them. So true love is a sacrifice of ones self for another,,....
I have the last Candy Bar, and we both want it real bad , but because I love you I'm willing to let you have it

For me love is accepting your partner for all the flaws and short comings they have, just the way they accept you and yours.

It's about just 'clicking' that sudden,
'Oh-my-gawd-this-person-really-is-the-one-for-me!'
feeling.

Spiritual, physical or emotional. How ever you wish to describe the connection, it's there and it's real and it's forever.

I think love is overate.

The Ladies watch TV and read magazines on what love should be and they claim to be waiting for the right person.

I think you can love anybody if you want to.
