I got -100 .if this is wrong what is the proper procedure for solving

Always start with parentheses, in this case, using distribution.

20-6(20) = 20-120=-100

pemdas
p- parenthesis
e- exponents
m- multiply
d- divide
a- add
s- subtract

That is the order in which you solve. But if you have to multiply and divide in the same equation- do it from left to right. Same goes for adding and subtracting.

-6*20= -120
-120+20= -100
