I'm doing a debate on whether the war should end or not. I'm on the anti-war side, so I'd like people's opinions on my point of view.

I mean i dont noe anyone who would actually want war.. War is the result of human's stupidity... and since humans are stupid war is inevitable..but i want war to end of course. WAR END!!!!

Of course the war should end,but the questions all the brains are pondering,is how?
Wouldn't just putting your tail between your legs and scarpering encourage more terrorism.
Unfortunately,the kind of war being fought (guerrilla) in my opinion,is unwinnable,so some other solution will have to be found

war is a neccisary evil. its how every country got to where they are today. it's a sad thing to have to have. but what does it say to those with plans to attack us if we say "oh well our people dont support us so we'll just give up" "go ahead and attack again because next time our presdident will be too worried about public opinion to retaliate"
i read an article yesterday and the author said,
"9/11 united us, the response divided us."
its extremely disrespectful to call the lives and actions of our soilders a waste.

Which one, the occupation in the Balkans, Iraq or Afghanistan. They are all unfinished business, started by the US.
Or the ongoing semi conflicts in Somalia, Philippines, Korea, Nigeria, Haiti, Panama and much more, CIA escalated local conflicts, to make sure, the Pentagon and its military industry doesn't run out of big business.

I read something this morning that gave a different view and that view had the power to change my undecided decision. The men, and women are there to win and I think they should know why they want to win. I would not deny them by my vote. I will not deny them a win by second guessing their training to do so.My Blessings and prayers will remain with them .

Maybe you should go poll the other side. They're the ones keeping the war going. I'm sure they will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Be sure to wear a steel collar though, you wouldn't want to lose your head while discussing such niceties with them.

yes... it should end.... I am republican but have to say, this war has been a big waste of good American soldiers....all for money and power...and Bush will stop at nothing to get them both....
