My pc keeps rebooting... suddenly without warning... no reason. my antivirus detects nothing... no problems otherwise. Does anyone have an idea as to why my pc keeps rebooting? it never happens at the same time... it is a maximum of three times a day so far... what the....????

Windows xp is designed to reboot itself in the event of a system error in an attempt to repair the problem. I would run a repair install to fix it now before you have a full system crash. A repair install will leave all your personal data in tact, you'll only have to download your critical updates again. Here's a guide for doing the repair install:

I would re-install os, because I had spooky problems once that went away after a reinstall.
