actually, i usally talk back to him.
then just out of spite i change the channel. - and usually commercials beginning that way turn out to be obnoxious with people yelling about how great of a product it is and so on.
i mean, what executive in an office somewhere decided it was a good marketing technique to tell viewers not to touch the remote?! seriously?!

yeah I do because I know that he is fixing to try to sell me something that I am gonna want really bad. So if I change the channel I can save my husband hundreds of dollars!!! LOL

Depends. I usually don't even notice any more. They used to say 'don't touch that dial' even after dial controlled televisions were long gone.
