I agree " michael w "... The McCanns did no longer forget their young ones and did no longer take one hour to call the Police. i'm beginning to have faith which you already know greater appropriate to the case than the PJ, LOL. Your help of the McCanns is somewhat too irrational which you would be completely harmless. it fairly is obviously rubbish yet you're complicated somewhat some human beings including your irrational loyalty for those 2. it extremely is impossible which you would be that dependable interior the mild of each thing we've discovered appropriate to the McCanns and the case.... except for sure you're freemason your self. Now... this could be a theory, michael !!! What inn, michael ? you in addition to mght 'forgot', michael, that as quickly as the Portuguese Detectives visited Britain and interviewed the acquaintances, the two McCanns fled to Brussells, michael !!!

Bravo Lozzo! Finally someone on here talks sense.
The McCanns never said they were going to use these funds in the first place. The Trustees have looked into it, but never once did the McCanns claim they wanted to use it. The Daily Star quotes from Gerry are made up nonsense to fuel the fire.
I have been trying to argue this all along, but all anyone wants to say is "how could they?" and "the fund should be frozen" etc, without actually looking at the facts. People will believe whatever they are told without questioning it.
This is scary stuff. Do your research, people!

I thought the funds were for the entire find maddie campaign, not just the physically find maddie part.
I'm on 2 minds, they are not poor people and any money left after (PRAY TO GOD) maddie comes home could go to help other families, but on the other hand that is what the money was donated for.
As for maddie, people are too quick to say she is dead, remember last year some time, i think it was a belgian girl found after 8/10 years alive.

Read the report again. It was the trustees of the fund, NOT the McCanns, who questioned the legality of using the fund for legal fees. Reading between the lines, it seems as if the McCanns themselves have refused to consider using the fund.

The McCanns considered using this fund because they are scared out of their wits at what might happen to them.Thank god the directors came to this decision. If the Mc's are as innocent as they say they are they shouldn't need the backing of a million pound fund. They just need to tell the truth and answer ALL the questions ....simple.

Yeah and note this extract especially the last sentence:-
It is understood the Missing Madeleine campaign meeting is going ahead despite the couple's statement.
The fund's website says one of the objectives of the fund is to "provide support, including financial assistance, to Madeleine's family."
Esther McVey, a director of the Madeleine Fund, said she and the other five directors are meeting at 2pm this afternoon.
"What we are discussing is what does 'support' mean," she explained. "This is the only thing on the agenda and this is a special meeting."
HOW ABOUT CONSIDERING THE OTHER OBJECTIVES OF THE FUND - RELEASING FUNDS TO FIND MADDY AND TO BRING HER ABDUCTORS/KILLERS TO JUSTICE. ......

They are only doing what people want them to do... People are disgusted they are using the fund for lawyers fees next again day they announce they are not going to do it anymore. People are commenting on how there is no emotion shown and next thing Gerry is crying at the airport!! If they didn't do it they are up to something!!!

What about all the interest it is making, it must be well over a million now?
How dare they use that money, it's to find Madeleine, it not there's to take, it's Madeleine's
