There was is an old cop movie or TV show with a scene that shows a poster on the wall in the PD that says, "To err is human, to forgive is against department policy". I'm not sure that is an exact quote, but it was something very close to that. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It could be any number of movies or tv shows. That particular quote is from Murphy's Laws of Law Enforcement

one that tries to work out if squirrels are 'clever' adequate to flow hindrances with a view to discover hidden nuts and acorns. they'd attempt to place acorns under an upside-down bowl and notice if the squirrel might think of of shifting it to get the nutrition. :p it must be referred to as, "looking the acorns". ^^ Or one that records the war between a kinfolk of squirrels. :D (((Hugs!)))

That sounds like it might have been from "Hill Street Blues."
