Why have MTV video awards?

MTV doesn't have videos anymore so how can it justify having a video awards show?

This is so true . They show video's in the morning then the rest of the time it's reality show's and such

I can remember when MTV was created in 1981

They should change it to RTV ."R" as in reality

Then again VH1 and CMT are the same way. They too are supposed to show music video's . Meaning all 3 should show video's 24/7

Good Point!!! I never see videos on the supposed "music" channel anymore!
