It is so sensational, interesting and entertaining. It is always well presented serious in content, and yet unrelated to my immediate affairs, or is it? But you asked for it.
I could never say no to latest, sizzling hot and up-to-date information the flow into my mind through powerful channels of media everyday. I incessantly seek to know all that is happening around in my world. I would like to know what has happened, as something must happen somewhere, sometimes, somehow, to someone in the world, and that I like to know the earliest the better; and the first to know in my opinion is always be the best to tell.
I do, nevertheless, still remember the old days of transistor radios, days when fast and effective global information networks were not in place, when people used to flock together to listen to important broadcasts by head of their state, and news bulletins of war containing vital information of the front, concerning to people most immediate to them. But now a day it all has changed all this, and much more spiced with extra gossip and lapses of entertainment gets to you in the leisure of your own living room without you having to form any opinion about anything, worrying at the least. Why, for instance, I need to form an opinion if something has happened thousands of miles away to someone else?
Information, I know, is harmful if not personalised and formed into arguments for personal debate in more realistic settings in your social life. Opinions extract the mind out of perplexity and confusion, but what can I do if there are so many things to think about that my mind has starts to clog up. Couldn’t then I do with some entertainment – and then what are all those celebrities for if not to cure the indigestion caused by information, the information that I could never resist.

A child's cry for help. It's irresistable and heart rending. I am completely unable to turn away from it. It moves me to tars. I'm not suggesting a misbehaving child's tantrum here. You KNOW what I mean. A lost child away from home and security. Hurt, abused, confused, alone.

I can't say no to someone in need, specifically if they ask for my help personally.
