Are you kidding? He's a drug addict who bought prostitutes to give venereal diseases he has to them. Not just a dog killer, but a beast of a man who threw away $4Mil a year as a local hero for a few lousy $20K illegal dog fights a year. Forget his one-finger salute to his fans when booed and the blatant lying to cover this felony charge up.
He deserves what he gets. Not just as an insensitive man-child, but as a person who just doesn't understand how to exist with society.

It may be for you. It's not for me. I can't read your soul. How do you feel? Do you want him to get the maximum sentence because the crime is so bad, or so you can finally see a black millionaire get put in jail? (as opposed to Kobe and OJ) If your feelings are because of race, then that is racist. If you, like me, feel strongly about animal rights (I walk dogs in homewood Pittsburgh at the Animal rescue league) or just love dogs and are offended by cruelty to God's creations, then that is not a racist thought, but one fueled by true caring. I personally think Michael Vick is contritious, and will pay his time, and may become a force of good in this fight against cruelty to animals.

If he grow to be particularly goinig to serve 23 months it might desire to be honest. thinking what he's lost, and could in no way get decrease back, he's paying better than the regulation can legally cost him. in actuality some people do exactly no longer think of the variety of situation is faulty. i do no longer comprehend how they have been suggested to experience this sort, however the regulation says it particularly is unlawful. Vick knew the threat and he did it besides. possibly this might develop right into a physically powerful situation. seem at how a lot this has introduced it to the mainstream information. Now if purely those Knoxville murders of people might have made the night information!

No because what he did was totally wrong and despite the fact that it has only been made a big deal because he is an NFL superstar, he should be punished either way and should be especially ashamed because he is an idol to thousands of young people in america and too many stars think they can bend the rules because they are famous

Why would you think that was racist? Are you hoping he gets jail time because of the color of his skin? Or that he is male? or that he is a football player? If you just think he is a bad person and did something completely wrong with dogfighting and gambling then I don't think so.

Only if you feel that way because he is black (and wouldn't feel that way if he was white).
It is not racist for you to want someone who has comitted a crime to get a maximum sentence, particularly if you are outraged about the crime in question.

If you hope that he gets the maximum sentence because he's black, then YES. If you hope that he gets the maximum sentence because you believe what he did was wrong, then NO. Do you understand how that works?
