I doubt that global warming could cause the end of the world. Though it is conceivable: runaway Greenhouse Effect is what has caused Venus to be so hot.
The theoretical "end of the world" will occur when the sun begins to die. The sun will swell into a Red Giant, radiating much more heat than it currently does, and boiling the earth. This is not likely to happen for another 5 billion years, though (*phew*).
Others hypothesise that the sun will become hotter much sooner than that (1 to 3.5 billion years), or that the Andromeda galaxy will collide with the Milky Way in 3.5 billion years, and this might destry the solar system.
Of course, humanity might no longer be limited to earth, or even our galaxy, by that point.
(FYI - the study of the end of the world, or the end of the universe is called "eschatology")

The world is round, so there is no end to it.
As far as the end of time predictions concerned, this is all mythology. The world is supposed to have ended already hundreds of times if it were for the religious people. It's a method of the religions to keep their sheep tame, they get more generous towards the church and focus more on the doctrine they are taught to get "savior" of some kind and things like that.
Also the world will never end unless it gets crushed by an enormous meteorite, or when the sun expands at the end of it's life, and it swallows the earth (but this is still gonna take a couple of billion of years).
Check out the history of the end of times myth:
http://www.abhota.info/end1.htm, but it hasn't still hasn't happened yet.
Of course disasters can and will happen, and when it does, it will be caused by nature, or human ignorance and stupidity. Not because of any religious prophecy. People who say such things are always right, because an event will happen as it has in the earth past, and every event will be a sign to them that "it is happening". It's all ludicrous.

My-my-my! Aren't you simply filled with surprises? This was once larger than any fabric I've learn or heard in particularly a while. And the originality is incredibly nice. You are obviously ready with a multifaceted, omnidirectional skillability from past this international. I'm nonetheless cracking up. You have a profession as a author...your brain is wholly surprising.

Are you asking the end of mankind or total extinction of life on earth ?
'couse these two will happen very far one from another
Human race won't last say 100.000 years from now as for some species of insects will last millions of years, probably some microorganisms will last until de death of the Sun.

I think it's impossible to predict an exact time and date for the end of the world......HOWEVER....the deterioration has been going on for several years.
Blame the politicians, the media and the fact that most of us lack the desire to stand up for our beliefs! Simply because it's easier to complain about everything while doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to correct the problem!
