Is it true Nickelback could be splitting up?

I read on Wikipedia that Nickelback will be taking a hiatus from recording their latest album, with possible fear that the band could also be breaking up... I really don't want to find out this will happen, Nickelback are an awesome band and they make some awesome tunes!
