I think both of us (hubby and I) would say the kids. Its not that we don't love each other, but we have a commitment to make our children's lives the best we can, and if that means sacrificing the other, that's what we'd do.

Yes! Yes yes yes yes yes. Marriage should always come before the kids, and if the spouse is an ***, then why the hell did you get married in the first place? Or why did you have sex with someone you couldn't stand or wasn't the right person for you, only to bring kids into the equation? Really, this should be common sense, but too often the kids are made the priority which ruins the relationship between the mother and father, and the strong foundation that all kids need to grow up with a healthy attitude about marriage, etc., is lost and they learn to think they are the center of the world... and, well, you get the idea. But this type of thing is an on-going cycle. People's priorities are all out of whack these days. Most people aren't taking marriage, sex and kids (the order that it SHOULD be) seriously at all anymore, so is it honestly any wonder why so many people are so messed up these days? Really? Geeeeez. By the way, there really is no such thing as an accidental pregnancy. All sex can lead to pregnancy, and we all know how babies are made as sex is nature's way of bringing new life into this world... seriously, come on people. Use your brains.

I say that depends on the situation. I mean if you have no kids yet then of course my husband. But as time goes on and we do have kids I would choose them. I mean they are our future. Me and the hubby are one set generation we would get older true enough. But I always have full faith that kids raised in a positive environment can change the world.

In a time of crisis, I would definitely choose my husband. I wouldn't want to burden my children with anything like that. They shouldn't be worried with their parents' problems, they should be pursuing a happy life. Whatever I go through, I am confident that my hubby would help me through it.

In all situations I would choose my children, I bought them into this world and I will love and protect them till the day I die. They will carry on my legacy after I have gone.

Hey you just helped me with my dilema. I am choosing my children. My husband and I are going to work it out so that I visit him instead of me visiting my children. (Two different states. ) Have a grandson with special needs.

I'm curious what situation would cause you to choose between the two. You'd choose them all, keeping your spouse first. If you're not a couple, you have nothing.

It depends on the circumstances - how old your kids are, etc etc.
But your children didn't ask to be born and you owe them. Husbands are adults and can take care of themselves. And I would want my husband to save my kids first, too.
