OK No problem #1 is "A" #2 is "C" Guaranteed correct
After the Tet offensive in early 1968, the Communist forces in the south - the "Viet Cong" - were largely wiped out, so the North Vietnamese army took a greater role in continuing the struggle. The Vietnamese were amazing in their capacity to take losses and not quit. They knew that Americans would not accept continued heavy losses and would eventually decide it was not worth the sacrifice. They were correct. In retrospect, it was not worth the American sacrifice to begin with, but it's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback
